Monitoring van neonataal antibiotica- en probioticagebruik en implementatie van een antibiotica zorgbundel (minder, korter, vriendelijker) om een gezonde levensstart te bevorderen.
Achtergrond
In Nederland wordt ~5% van de pasgeborenen met antibiotica behandeld terwijl het aantal bewezen bacteriele infecties slechts 0.05% is. Er is een sterke en ongewenste variatie tussen ziekenhuizen. Onterecht antibioticagebruik is niet zonder gevolgen. Wij gaan antibioticagebruik bij pasgeborenen verminderen, verkorten en vriendelijker maken. We bouwen een meetinstrument om antibioticagebruik te monitoren en implementeren drie zorginnovaties waardoor we antibioticagebruik kunnen verbeteren.
